Axicon Verifier

The Axicon 6525-S is designed for all barcodes where a 5, 6, 10 or 20mil aperture is mandatory (such as EAN8, EAN13, UPC-A, UPC-E, GS1-128 and ITF-14), up to 125mm width including quiet zones. For the user who needs to verify barcodes on both consumer unit (point of sale) products and also the smaller sized traded pack barcodes, typically those printed Thermal or thermal transfer to labels).

The Axicon 7000 Series barcode verifier is aimed at verifying large size linear barcodes, (up to 195 mm), used in general distribution of retail products (mainly GS1-128, ITF-14, pallet labels). This easy to operate, plug and play system is perfect for product manufacturers, thermal transfer label printing operations, printers and packagers (corrugated cardboard).

The Axicon 15000 barcode Verifier has been specifically designed to read both linear and 2D barcodes (whether matrix or stacked). The 15000 can verify linear barcodes up to a maximum length of 52mm (2.0\) including Quiet Zones, and 2D barcodes should have a maximum size of 52mm x 31mm (2.0\" x 1.25\") including quiet zones. The system consists of a state of the art array imaging camera and application software."

The Axicon 6500 Series barcode verifier is aimed at verifying small to medium size linear barcodes, (max 125 mm), used in general distribution of retail products (EAN-13, EAN-8, UPC-A and UPC-E, GS1 Databar, GS1-128, ITF-14 (max 95% magnification). This easy to operate, plug and play system is perfect for product manufacturers, label printers, printers and packagers (cardboard, flexible, aluminium, etc), pre press studios. Thanks to its ideal combination of optical apertures and capture size, this verifier is the only one that can cater for all types of barcodes at most sizes. Large logistics barcodes such as ITF-14 barcodes at 100% magnification cannot be verified though.

The IP50 rating makes the 7015-IP50 ideal for use in dusty environments while the IP65 rated version is ideal for use where a higher level of protection is required -- including use in hose down areas such as in the food industry. The Axicon 7015-IP verifiers have been specifically designed for all barcodes where an 8, 10, or 20mil aperture is mandatory, up to 185mm width including quite zones. Meets International Standards.

As an extension to the range of very popular 7000 seies verifiers, Axicon now offer these with a choice of IP (Industrial Protection) ratings. The 7025-S-IP is designed for all barcodes where a 10 or 20mil aperture is mandatory (such as UCC/EAN-128 and ITF-14), up to 7.68\ (195 mm) width including quiet zones. The most versatile option is available by using an existing Axicon 6000, 6500 or 7000 series verifier (with a USB connector) and simply purchasing a PV-1000 Portable Display and Collection unit. Please download the data sheet for full specification. In this way the user has the full capability of a PC/Mac based verifier - but with the option to just unplug the verifier from the computer and plug it into the PV-1000 for full portability and flexibility. The PV-1000 can save both a text file of the verification results and also the scan file (which can be uploaded if required into the Axicon PC software).

For the more price-conscious user who does not have an existing verifier and has a need to only verify the physically smaller barcodes, the Axicon PV-1072 provides the ideal solution. The Axicon PV-1072 is supplied as a complete solution with the verifier read-head included.

This easy to operate, plug and play system is perfect for product manufacturers, label printers, printers and packagers (cardboard, flexible, aluminium, etc), pre press studios. Note: Laetus pharmacode verification requires dedicated additional software.
